Tierpoort Seniors celebrated Father’s Day in June with the theme ‘The Man, the Father, the Legend’.

Lené van Leeuwen and Noeline de Jager of Imperfect Perfection decorated the hall in rustic colours. On arrival each man received a decorated gift bag filled with biltong. The welcoming drinks of condensed milk coffee and rusks were enjoyed in front of the fireplaces burning in each corner.

The guest speaker was pastor Braam Klopper, a grief counsellor. The Seniors found his talk informative and many questions were asked.

The committee spoiled the guests with a lavish dinner. Pork schnitzels with cheese sauce, creamed potatoes, steamed pecan nut green beans and pineapple salad were served, followed by warm dessert.
