Dear dr Liesel, first of all I want to tell you how much I enjoy your straight-forward articles each month in The Bronberger.

I have a five year old Maltese bitch. She is sterilized. I recently decided to change her food from Nutribyte Specific to something else. I need something that is hypoallergenic, but still affordable.

I don’t mean to be rude; although Royal Canin, Hill's and brands like that is a good quality food, they’re very expensive. Can you please give some advice?

With all the brands on the market my head is spinning.
