Do you have a problem with feral cats in the Zwavelpoort, Shere or Mooiplaats area? There is a group of women who can help you.

At least five kitties are looking for homes

Whiskers and Tails is not an organisation or affiliated with any organisations such as Wet Nose or Cats R Us. “We are a few women who care especially about the ferals in our area and try to get them sterilised in our own time by catching them and taking them to the Faerie Glen Animal Clinic,” says founder member Petro Anderson.

Foxie is homeless yet again

“We are very much dependant on donations and would like to tell everyone that has made a donation so far that we and the cats are ever so grateful.”

This month at least five kitties are looking for homes. Contact Petro (083-604-0074), Marcelle (082-775-0161) or Carol (082-643-8886) should you wish to have a sterilised kitten.

Foxie’s beloved Arrie Neven passed away just before Christmas last year when his helicopter hit a cable near Sun City

Two dogs are desperately looking for loving homes. The late Arie Neven’s smallholding has been sold and Foxie, a fox terrier, and Diesel, an Alsatian, are in need of good homes. Contact Santie Neven: 082-716-5494.

Can you give Diesel a home?

Donations to Whiskers and Tails can be made at FNB, account name: Faerie Glen Animal Clinic, account nr: 51010039646, branch nr: 252045, reference: Whiskers&Tail (the reference is extremely important otherwise the money won’t be allocated to this project).
