With the ever increasing number of cars on the road, the intersections along Garstfontein Road extension need attention, especially the one at Woodlands Boulevard on the corner of De Villebois Mareuil Drive and Garstfontein Road.

It lets five to six cars through per traffic light change and as a result cars back up to B-House. The traffic situation is going to worsen with the estates east of Mooikloof being steadily built.

This week I saw poles for traffic lights going up on the T-junction of Garstfontein and Matt Roads (east of Woodlands Boulevard). This is going to add to the traffic congestion if not set up properly and synchronized.

I wonder when a traffic light will be installed at Plantland on the corner of De Villebois Mareuil Drive and Atterbury Roads. It is years overdue.
