Nick Voigt from Zwavelpoort writes:
Raumix’s Willow Quarries obviously have no regard for their neighbours despite being situated in the middle of a residential area.

On Good Friday (25 March 2016) at 5.25 am their extremely noisy drilling machine was busy, waking up the surrounding neighbourhood for kilometres.  I am about 5 km away.

This is totally unacceptable and happens regularly.

I have previously complained (published in The Bronberger) and they continue without due consideration.

We forwarded Nick’s letter to Willow Quarries for an opportunity to respond, but have had no reply. The noise made by a machine of the neighbouring brickyard is often the actual culprit. – Ed
