The Tierpoort Seniors took a bus trip to Bonamanzi at Bronkhorstspruit Dam where a picnic was arranged on 4 November.

There were games and challenges, the most popular being ‘How many objects can you fit into a match box’. The winner was Debbie Simpson with 38 different items. It would have been 39, but the moth flew away when she opened the box.

Seniors play Boule

Seniors posed at the peep-through board for comical photographs, played Boule and did some kite flying.

They enjoyed a picnic lunch of sandwiches, chicken wings and various salads in the shade of trees overlooking the beautiful Bronkhorstspruit Dam. Ice cream was served for desert.
