The Wet Nose Animal Rescue Centre opened its doors to the public at its new premises, plot 75, Vaalbank on the old Pretoria/Bronkhorstspruit Road, opposite de Leeuw rose farm.

This registered right-to-life animal sanctuary aims to rehabilitate and rehome abandoned, neglected and unwanted animals. Wet Nose also has an inspectorate division that investigates and prosecutes complaints of cruelty, neglect and abandonment of animals.

Office hours are Mondays to Fridays from 8 am to 4.30 pm, Saturdays from 9 am to 2 pm and Sundays from 10 am to 12 pm.

A Telkom landline will soon be installed. Should you wish to volunteer your services, contact Andrew or Fiona at 082-498-7740.

Wet Nose’s emergency contact service to assist owners in distress can be reached at 082-742-2522 at all hours. The inspectorate division can be reached at 082-446-1662.
